Prague is the capital and largest city in the Czech Republic is a landlocked country, right in the middle of Europe and is of great significance from a historical, political, and cultural point of view, among others. Nicknamed “the City of a Hundred Spires,” the city has a rich architectural heritage🏛🏛🏛 that reflects both the currents of history in Bohemia and an urban life extending back more than 1,000 years. This historic atmosphere with colorful baroque buildings, Gothic churches⛪⛪⛪ and the medieval Astronomical Clock, and narrow, winding streets are testament to its centuries-old role as capital of the historic region. Its capital, Prague, is located in the north-west of the country, on the Vltava River, a stream of shimmering sunlight hits the Vltava River running through the center of Prague. Reflections of medieval buildings shimmer along the riverbank on the new town side of the city. The winding course of the Vltava, with its succession of bridges🌉🌉🌉 and changing vistas, reflections of medieval buildings shimmer along the riverbank, contrasts with the ever-present backdrop of the great castle of Hradčany (Prague Castle). However almost all of the streets are cobbled and by the Vltava River with its Gothic grace and Renaissance architecture, museums and baroque style churches and bridges.
We are huge fan of Airbnb when travelling across Europe. They have a fantastic range of places to stay and always offer great value. Airbnb can be found in the major cities and towns, though the vast majority of properties are located in Prague. Price of accommodation in Prague as higher, we are looking for budget double private room🛏🛏🛏 stay but must have a kitchen🍽🍴🥄 for us to cook our own food. Search for Airbnb, we choose a place that have a little distance to the town, and we stay for 6 day in Prague, Czech Republic. Although the room located outland of city, but don’t know why very raise clamour☹☹☹. While the arrange of the room is similarly as the picture in Airbnb , it’s has facilities of double bed, simple kitchen and modern bathroom🚿🚽🧻 but they totally haven’t prepared sundries such as shampoo, body wash and cooking ingredients which the host promise us. Most important the room only prepared only one of the small rubbish bag😲😲😲 plus don’t have any dustbin. Normally for guests whose stay a few day the host would prepared extra rubbish bag, a piece of small rubbish bag must not enough especially like us who would cooking by ourselves. Ask host provide a few of rubbish bag for next day, the host give us a lot excuse but finally don’t have any prepared🙄🙄🙄. Compare to other during our Europe journey trip, the accommodation in Prague is very terrible.
One of the biggest expenses when traveling goes to food🥩🥗🍞, so in order to save, the best thing we are do are to buy fresh or instant food from the groceries and cook by ourselves. During our Europe travel trip, we often cook meals per day in our accommodation so during Prague Journey trip also no exception. Simultaneously, as the food lover, we still make sure to discovery and taste some street food or local and other cuisine. Our habit are go to grocery shopping🛒🛒🛒 in first day, head to the nearest supermarket with name as Penny, a German discount😍😍😍 supermarket chain. Overall, Prague grocery can be the pricey compare to other during our Europe trip so planning what we want to eat is important .Here got some tips: Choose and learn some what are the locals are buying with some local instant food with get the best deals in the discount grocery store. We spend 350CZK (13.57€) on groceries and the goods that we buy are some local ingredient for cooking, the grocery and fresh goods that can be seen on photo.
We like exploring a foreign city on foot🚶♀️🚶♀️🚶♂️, it always have more learn to soak in the details of the different environment around you. During Prague, our travel journey only around the city so we haven’t taken any public transport but we are simple write out the public transport of the Prague. Many European cities set their sights on promoting walking, cycling🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♀️, and public transportation, though if you do need to pay for travel on transport, common sense take public transport is always cheaper than a taxi. The public transport of Prague are metro🚈🚈🚈, trams🚎🚎🚎 and buses🚐🚐🚐 which cover the majority of the city and outskirts while you can save money and time for use different type transport pass. A short- term tickets🎫🎫🎫 available either a 30-minute ticket or 90-minute ticket, that can let unlimited transfers between any mode of public transport. In addition to short-term tickets, 24 and 72-hour passes are available from the time of validation and are accepted on all city trams, buses and the metro. If you want a comfortable and easy transport travel you can ride taxi🚖🚖🚖 or go online for book Uber (can direct pay by cash or using bank card). When we carriage up big sizes of luggage from railway station to the accommodation, we always ride the Uber because through the app📱📱📱 we can be aware of the transport fees for the destination.
